Solo oboist in the Slovenian Radio Symphony Orchestra, Professor for oboe at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet in Ljubljana. Irmgard Anderl-Krajter is an Austrian oboist who started her musical education at the Salzburg Musik-school with Alfons Thonhauser. She won several awards at the National competitions for young musicians. Between 1989 and 1996 she studied oboe at the University of Salzburg Mozarteum with Prof. Arthur Jensen and Prof. Lothar Koch. 1996 she received her diploma with distinction and 1997 she got her Master’s degree. She enriched her studies with masterclasses with Gunther Passin and Alfredo Bernardini. In autumn 1996 she became solooboist in the Slovenian Radio Symphony orchestra in Ljubljana. Besides the work in the orchestra she plays solo concerts and recordings with the orchestra and a lot of Chamber music in different formations. She also did several first performances for Slovenian composers. She is a member of the ensamble for ancient music »Capella Carniola«, where she performed several concerts with a Renaissance Shawm. From 2006-2012 she was teaching the oboe in the music school Franc Šturm in Ljubljana. 2012 she started teaching at the Conservatory of Music and Ballet (KGBL) in Ljubljana.
